Alu_Rathbone, that is such a cute little quilt! I'm glad you are in the swap. And to think you did it all by hand. That's great! Just think what you can do with a machine!!!

Happy Birthday to you on Monday. I hope you have a great day.

I would love to be part of this swap. I only have to make one quilt though, right? International is fine. In case it is an allergy issue, I have two dogs. I am almost finished with my first doll quilt for a swap with Gwyn. I never would have tried if not for this board. Jumping in with both feet. :-)

Actually no we don't. My grandmother crocheted and so does my mom.

My mom decided to try quilting and I thought I'd give it a try. I bought a quilt kit which was for beginners... and thats where the fabric came from. And I really really love it! So I'm going to continue on with quilting. My mom says it's the healthiest hobby/obsession (lol not really obsessed!) that I've come across.

And thank you for the complements everyone!!!

I can't do 1" pieces, but I can usually work out the pieces in strips and then cut the rows to the correct size squares or whatever.
Hi Gwyn. I have been working on the doll quilt for you. It takes me a while since I work full-time plus, and hand-quilt. It is coming along and I am about to do the edging. That part scares me, but I will let you know how it is going. As you know, this is my first doll quilt, and I learned how to do triangles too. I was afraid to try them, but I'm glad I finally did. I will let you know the day I get it in the mail. :-)
