I received my Doll Quilt(s) today from my partner Gladie, they are wonderful!! She made 3 little quilts for me with little pink hearts she had left over from a guild project. I'm so lucky to be the fortunate one to get these little beauties! I will try to post a photo later if I can get the darn camera to work. She also sent me some fabrics in beautiful fall colors. Gladie, yours went out in the mail today. We were thinking along the same lines...Happy Valentines Day!

For my medium in my doll quilts I have been using old white t-shirts. Is that okay?

Random ideas, random partners, creative batting, just go for it. No hard rules here. Well, the having fun one is required. So if you're not having fun, you're in trouble! ;)

Wow that was quick, Kathy, as I mailed them Friday. So tickled you like them. They are colors I don't generally use. I have pics taken if you have trouble. Will be watching the mailbox all week. G

Usually partners are randomly paired, and I have a fancy spreadsheet now so I try not to pair you with someone you've swapped with before. It's fun to meet new partners. What do you guys think about a request line swap one month? You request a certain partner and I try to pair you up?

And heads up for March, we will have a theme again. Red and white. The themes are always optional. I'm all about the creativity, so if you're not feeling the theme, do your own thing. The goal of this swap is to have fun and complete a little quilt. And from the looks of the first February quilts, the goal has been met and exceeded!

Looking forward to more quilts. Our fun for February has just begun.
For March- Is it Red and white only or can we put in ONE other color for the 'pop' effect?

My daughter is jealouse and is wanting to sign up for next month. So much so, that she made me go through my stash to see if I owned any red. I am not a red person, I am surprised I have 3! It is hard to resist the urge to do green in march
