Well, I go to post a picture of your quilt that I had taken the morning that I mailed it, and evidentally, my 8 yo DD had played with my camera and deleted the pic.

Hopefully, when your camera is fixed, you can post a picture.
I'll have my sister post it :D
Great! I must keep my camera away from her.
She likes to take pictures of her chickens.

OMGosh! How can one little Doll Quilt be so difficult? Is it just me...yes it is just me. I have changed my mind on fabric 3 times, changed my mind on a pattern 4 times...however I am pleased to say...

Yay! I went back to my LQS last night, got all new fabric that I just LOVE, and it will look great in the 4th pattern that I stuck with! Plotted it all out on graph paper last night. Tonight I will get everything cut out and start sewing! Now that I know what I'm doing it should go together quickly & be in the mail by the weekend. Don't give up on me yet Janis! :D

Though I am not Janis... please remember there are no quilt police here. ALL effort and all thoughts/intentions, etc are seww appreciated by everyone who recieves a doll quilt from their partner. Chele has done a pretty great job of encouraging us to encourage each other.

Sometimes (ask me how I know) we are our own WORST critics... that my work isn't good enough, he/she will think (fill in the blank) and on and on we can go. Go easy on yourself and enjoy the process. Happy Quilting is the goal! :-D :-D :-D

My doll quilt went out today for OkDarla. There have been some truly beautiful quilts. I still see myself as a beginner though, and tried something more complicated for myself. I am pretty happy with it. I put a LOT of time into it. I hope you love it!!

Thank you for the kind words. It isn't so much that I am worried about my work, or acceptance of my finished doll quilt, as it is that I just couldn't settle on anything! Which was very frustrating and why I finally started fresh, picked out all new fabric and am now wishing it were already 5 o'clock so I could be home sewing! :D
