first-----just got home from travels and a spending spree with my son.
I need to thank KLAWS-Karen_ for her thoughtful great pincushion. she pictured it a few back. it's a heart pincushion
in a pink ceramic heart with red beading around the edges. it is stuffed so nicely and firm. Perfect for a pincushion. then I got 2 wonderful handmade hatpins, with luscious beads, the kind that knock your socks off, if you know what I mean. (where did you get those pins, I need to get my grubby hands on some of those). a great pattern , (one I've been looking at to buy) and some fantastic kitty buttons and candy. what a fabulous package I got.
it makes up for my sourpuss mother.
tell me what you think...I made her a hotcakes potholder, you know the guys in gym shorts, she sent it back with an attitude, take the boy off the back, I don't want this, and on and on. how would you fell???

it's cold today 14 with the wind chill factor.
snow this weekend again. looking forward to seeing the brown grass again and the cement.
never thought i'd say that.
Joann's is having big sales this weekend for grand re-openings. get there early for free prizes
(first 50). and a shot at gc for the store.

Now, I'm very worried, My swap partner was to get her pc on Friday. Sat and today were mailing days, where oh where is it. I know she would have posted at least a thankyou, or a nice try. where is it?????

It took me off guard, that she didn't want it, she's nasty
to me a lot, but I figured she'd like it for Valentines day.
How do you turn down a gift??? she could have just kept it.

Lynnie, I'm sorry that your mother reacted like she did. But, I'm glad that my pc to you helped ease the hurt a little. I got the beads at Joann's and the pins from Fire Mountain Gems. Please enjoy and I want to see a turtle when you make one.

Wow all of these pin cushions/needle books are so pretty. Nhnative, Klaws, and Lynnie they are all so pretty. Great looking beaded pins.

Well, I am in there too. I received my needle book and pin cushion from Nhnative. They are so so pretty. She also made some of the gorgeous beaded pins and a larger beaded stiletto. A little box of candy, little pretty sewn bag with the little crocheted hearts, pretty card, and some bigger crocheted hearts. Thank you so very much for such a beautiful box of pretty creations by you. I will get a picture put up in a bit. I don't want to describe them more, because I think a picture will tell everything.
