Hi! I received your beautiful mug rugs today along with the great snacks. I am very impressed by your expert work. I will be starting yours this weekend or early next week. I have everything set to go. I just have to finish up a deadline project first. Thank you for the great mug rugs.

judee0624 -- who sent you a package? Can you post photos? If not, please ask your partner to post a photo. Thanks.

Just weighing in on the size of the mugrug topic...I was using the minimum size as kind of a guideline. I google for possibilities and then if something catches my eye I try to figure out if I can make it. Haven't been quilting long enough to always be as sucessful as I like in making it smaller so mine are tending to be a little larger. Call it a cup of coffee and a really big piece of cake size...

I usually make bigger ones because of the design I use.

I'm not in this month but would like to add my two penny worth to the size of mug rugs. None of my mugrugs are a set size, swappers have sent a lovely variety which fit in different spaces around my work area. Some I use for resting scissors and rippers on, I tend to use my trial runs for actual mugrugs so that the specials don't get spoiled.

I'm also not in this month, but when I play, I adore the smaller sizes, between 6 and 8 or 9. The larger size feels more like a mini quilt than a mug rug, but that's just me.

I like the larger one's, I use them on my t.v. tray. But I use all the sizes, it's fun to use around the house.

I like them to be no larger then 9 1/2" because the table next to where I sit isn't that large

I try to make mine in the range of 6x9. But then some can be bigger depending on what I make. In use some and I hang some.

The patterns I have are for the smaller sizes. I either add a boarder or adjust the measurement. I do prefer smaller. They go on the kitchen island which is just room for two.
