Dotty, great postcard. Dotty has the best NYC fabrics I've ever seen.
I hope my partner receives hers today. As you know, Dotty lives in New York City.
Dotty and I are good friends and meet up when we can. She lives about 60 miles from me. I live out on Long Island.
I hope you enjoy my interpretation of Long Island NY.

Dotty, great job. I can just feel the hustle and bustle of NYC.
Lynnie, I can't wait to see your Long Island card. Were you anywhere around Krystyna. How did you fair during Hurrican Sandy. It now sounds like Krystyna is doing very well.
I lived in New York a long time ago. My mother grew up in Philmont, NY and my father in Hudson, NY. That's where we lived until I was 10. Florida has been home for the most part for me. We, my DH, and kids lived in Rensselaer, NY for a little over a year and then moved back to FL. And, then a brief stay for a couple of years in KY. For me, home is Florida. I really love it here.

Krystina was about 30 mils from me. I live in the center of long Island. About 60 miles from Montauk Pt and NYC. also about 20 minutes from the north shore and south shore. depending on traffic. Luckily, we weren't hit like Krystina was in super storm Sandy. we're about 6 feet above sea level where I live.
we are getting more snow today, about 8" and we're about 3" now on top of Fridays 8". More snow to come on Tues and Wednesday. and below freezing about 10* over the weekend. A frozen mess for sure!
