I know how you feel. My grandchildren love to get handmade cards from me. And, I love to make them for they too. I also send the theme of the month card to my mom also. She just loves getting them also. I like to make her feel included in our shared hobby and in my life. She just won't join the quilt board. So, this is my way of staying connected with her. At least, it's pretty snail mail.

Calla, JuneBillie, I am loving these ideas. I definitely think we can work in a few more. I love the idea of going in artsy direction on some and Calla's suggestions are a little more traditional. I just love adding in some more diversity into our swap.

Calla, we have not gone in these directions yet under my management of the swap. So, I am loving the suggestions. After all, this is our swap as a whole.

I know I would like to veer away from every month being "holiday" themed. Unless, it is a more un traditional holiday. Something that will push us to try different things.

Thank you Owlie. I have you marked down. In fact, I have heard from just about everyone this month. Thank you all for being on top of things.

I like steampunk. What are the themes that you have decided upon?

Cuppy, I don't have a complete list of themes yet. I am still working in suggestions and getting input on others.

April is April showers bring May Flowers

May is Guess that Song or lyric depending on the postcard. It will be fun to try to figure out what it is. I'm sure hilarity will ensue.

Judith what is the close date for March sign ups?

Juanita I will google Flight of Fancy......ty

Thanks JuneBillie, your definitions help a lot.

And in Aug, I think it was with the theme being feathers I did receive a card with a painted bird from the gal in Texas that was fun.

I like to put my card of the month on my table, I display it in a photo thingie with a weighted bottom which is a sheep and a verticle thingie and has a alligator clip on the end. So it looks like it is suspended from the air.....

    Later all, nite.........calla/Sue.....

One time I was in a row robin with my guild, each row had a theme. Name that tune was one row.
