My partner, Linda, (ldugas) can't post pics so I am posting them for her. This is the package I sent her this morning.
The PC is made out of Duponi Silk with sick thread, ribbon, beads, and metallic thread. I made it in a class with my embroidery group and Linda said she wouldn't be using the PC and loved embroidery, so I thought she would be the perfect person to receive it. Hope she enjoys everything and it should arrive Wednesday.

Ohmigosh! What a lovely little bit of Victoriana you've made! It is gorgeous and I know Linda will adore it. She makes wonderful lacy things herself! Was it hard to do? I have been looking at these kinds of pincushions and wondering if I could figure out how to make one. So beautiful. What a lovely swap.

Quiltjoey that is a very nice package you sent Linda. Cute little white bear. That is a very pretty pincushion, and such pretty detail. I love not only the beads, but the nice ribbon embroidery. You also made a very pretty needle book too. I have one from way back that has the little thing to hold the scissors like that. Works great.

The stilettos are made with turkey lacers. I prefer the Good Cook brand and order them from E-Bay. The decorative pins are made with corsage pins or head pins. They can be found in the wedding section of craft stores.

Today I received the most incredible pincushion~needlecase package from Deb (Patchesnposies)! The pincushion she made was adorned with such beautiful embellishments and was done in a patchwork type of design. The needlecase she included held a package of John James needles. Also included was a mug rug with matching napkin, gorgeous needles that she made, a package of rick rack, decorative flowers and buttons, and fabric in my favorite colors. Coffee flavored chocolate, M&M's and specialty coffee were the edible goodies she included. I'm saving the best for last, she made an absolutely gorgeous Siamese cat tablemat that I love and will treasure forever.
