I posted this on the January one too, but I will post here as well.

Lynnie needs her some Tamiflu, and may have not been able to get out yesterday with things closed, so hopefully she got her some today. A good friend of hers has been kind to send me a couple of updates on her so we are able to know what is going on.

    We Love You Lynnie!!

Lynnie I hope you are feeling better soon. I really want to do the Valentine swap this month but not sure if I can. My FIL had to go to the ER just as the storm was starting. He went by ambulance since the weather was going to get bad. They discharged him but him and his wife were stranded and had to stay at the hospital. We couldn't get them because the storm was bad and we would have to travel about 40 mins, thats on good roads. The hospital had a spare bed and put them up for the night. He got worse and went to ER again and this time they admitted him. On top of all his other problems he now has tested positive for the flu. We are still having snow and can't get down to the hospital. We may have to make dicisions about nursing home care since he looses strenght in his legs and sometimes can get around. It has been crazy.

I am so sorry to hear about your father-in-law! I'll keep him and the whole extended family in prayer. The flu on top of everything else....hoping you don't get it too! We'll miss you, but know you'll be back when you can.

Dwina I am sorry to hear about your father in law. I won't be in this months swap either. I have to catch up on my train ride quilt, and have to work on some things for two sisters birthdays for Feb. I will be back when it's more feasible for me. I do have a beautiful Valentine's Day pincushion, needle book, and basket from last year, and a beautiful green St. Patrick's Day pincushion from last year. So I am up with the holidays. lol....I will miss you, but pop in to say hi, and view your pretty creations. All of you are dear to my heart.

Dwina you sure are not having a good week. So sorry that your FIL is not better and now the flu. It's really bad this year. And you are still having snow. Nashua, NH got 33". I can't even imagine that. I heard that more snow is on the way tomorrow and Sunday. I know about nursing homes. My mother was in one for 2 months until she got her strength back. You just have to do what you have to do. Sending prayers for you and your family and to stop the snow.

Lynnie so glad that you are at least ok to let us know how you are. I just can't believe all the snow everywhere. The most was 36" in Auburn, Ma. Nashua got 33". And you got a lot at 30". Take care

Glad you are back Lynnie. Having the flu or being off your feet for a while is never fun.
