Dwina how cute are the kitty pc and nc. You did a great job on them. I'm glad that Lynnie's friend could post the pics. Such great stories of our ladies and their partners. I think I'll have to go back to NH if I want a partner. The only one here that has caught my eye is 19 and I know that won't happen. LOL.

Susan you got a really bad ice/snow storm. I haven't seen anything around here that has been that bad and I'm getting snow all the time.

    Everyone have a great day

Susan, about 7 years ago we got a terrible ice storm here. I went without power for 13 days. National Guard was out checking on people like us in the country. It took 3 days for them to be able to get to my house. They brought canned water to drink and meals that heated themselves when you cracked them open. We also received army type rations. telephone poles were snapped like toothpicks. Lines were down all over. All day and night for about 4 days we could here trees snapping and falling. It looked like a war zone and sounded like one. We had whole 60 ft. tall oak trees fall over. My son was able to get through about 4 days into this mess and brought us a generator and 15 gals of gas to run it.We only ran it at night to run a heater in our well house to keep it from freezing up and a few hours in the day to gather water for us and water our cattle. What a mess. I really feel bad for people in that situation.Lynnie, using insulin is no fun.but it's a small needle and not that much insulin. I take 5 shots a day of 2 different insulins. I do watch my diet carefully, but I'm no saint either. Louise how big are the ribbons? I have no idea what to charge for them. I really do want one though. I'd like one for a keychain so not a big one. Have a good and safe day everyone.

Now that we have all the pictures, I am in the process of creating the collage. I will be posting it in a little while.

Mary the ribbon is approx. 3" long excluding the bead.

I can adjust the size up and down some without loosing
    the stability of the lace.

My goal is to hopefully make them larger for ornaments
    also.

Karen, thanks for doing the collage,
Jeanne, thank you for posting the photos for me.
Susan, what horrible devastation. Whe had an ice storm like that on Valentines day 1978.
It seemed like everything over 6 feet fell down from all the ice. At first it was pretty, then
it sounded like a war zone with all the snapping of the trees, and the ground would shake
as the trees fell. So sorry you're going this now, this horrible terrible weather. Let's hope
it passes soon. Let's hope for an early spring. it's in the 20's here today.

I was outside pruning apple trees this morning. I cannot imagine beingon the East coast and facing all of the snow, cold and ICE. Susan, you look like you are in a winter war zone! It must feel like it with all of the harsh weather you folks have been battling!
