Teresa those little birdies are gorgeous. Ctyankee you sure did a great job on those little birdies. Nice binding around all those circles. I think my favorite things besides family and friends are animals in general, flowers, and birds.

Oh, those are such cute birdy coasters!! I'm getting so many ideas for gifts! Everyone is so creative, I really enjoy these swaps because it keeps my creative energy going.
I also work full time (for another 137 days that is). I hardly ever sew at night, I make too many mistakes when I'm tired. Work just sucks the energy out of me. I am looking forward to this 3 day weekend tho. I have a wall hanging that I've been meaning to machine quilt for the past several months. I need something new on my living room wall, and I'm between swaps, so what better time to finish a UFO????

I'm so glad you like the birdie coasters, Teresa. And thanks, everyone, for your kind words. I really enjoyed making them -- once I figured out what I was going to do!

Birdie coasters? how cute are those. Fabulous job and love the different colors of the birds.
Hand is oing better TL, thanks for asking. Physical therapy 3 tmes a week but I do have more movement in it and it isn't as stiff as it was. Just need for all the swelling to go away but have been able to sew a little each day, the rotary cutter is the hardest thing to do right now.

Love those birdies, ctyankee!
Lynnie,
I never meant to make anyone feel like they need to "air dirty laundry". I actually don't think being on a fixed or limited income is "dirty". Many of us are in that same "load of wash" with you girl!
I'm like JuneBillie in the fact that as fast as you are some of us might be mediocre or slow speed. I think that's what she meant (not sure as I don't want to speak for anyone but myself), and I know it's what I meant. It's just 2 different sides to the same coin. Like you feel bad if you can't send "extras", it's the same deal with feeling rushed because someone else is done before names are swapped and asking what's next month's? I think that's all that was meant.
Before Lupus and caregiving took over my life I would've been right with you. Now I'm with the tortoise watching the hare speed on by. It's been a lesson in patience learned for me. And I'm still learning it.
I also won't speak of this anymore. As the old saying goes, "Don't beat a dead horse".
Thank you Teresa and anyone who hosts these swaps. You all are true treasures in my quilt world.
Regards,
Kif
