Fantastic packages again this month, I just keep drooling LOL.
But I have a question. I have read several times about a 'stiletto', I have no idea what that is or what it's used for. I googled 'patchwork stilletto' and all I get is pictures of high heels ROFL. Now somehow I don't think that's what you are talking about. So by now I'm confused and clueless :-).

I wanted to let my swap partner know that I am at my parents house in New York. My father fell off a ladder on Sunday and broke his shoulder, wrist, and tailbone. My husband will let me know when my package arrives in Japan. Thank you in advance!

Gaijin sorry to hear about your dad and I hope he gets better. To hurt in all those areas he must be in pain. Hugs to you and your family.
Fabric Lover, stilettos are used a lot in sewing especially when guiding fabric when machine sewing. It has a lot of purposes. I make them myself and love the way they come out when using different kinds of beads. I'm sure there are many here who use theirs for different purposes. I too though they meant high heels and thought "what does that have to do with sewing/quilting?" and then of course our wonderful friends here on the board explained it to me. I love collecting them and have some from the generous SP swap friends here.

Gaijin, So sorry to hear about your dad. Those ladders need to be off limits unless you are young and/or fully trained. I hope he will recover rapidly and I hope you get to enjoy a bit of NY while you are here.
