Now that I have my January package in the mail ..........I must now sign up for Febuary..................

Just love doing the Secret Pal Swap............

Love putting the packages together...........each person is so different with thier likes and dislikes..........then you have to put your own likes and dislikes aside and try to come up with something you secret pal will really like.........makes it tough when you have to buy something for your SP and then buy the same thing for yourself :P

secret sister is just like secret sister, but we had men in our AK group so we called it secret stitcher,,,you gve a small gift to your secret pal each month and something special for their birthday, etc....then at the end of the year pals were exposed at a big party...it was great fun!

We had secret sister/secret pal in the church of my youth and I remember my Mom buying special gifts for her and having their end-of-the-year party and being so surprised. It is a wonderful thing to do which is why this is so nostalgic for me. I'm sure that's why I joined and Suzanne does a marvelous job. I'm sure it is very time-consuming and we owe her a huge debt of gratitude for doing it. I wish there was some way we could show it besides with words.

One year on the Dear Jane group, Rosemary Youngs was my secret sister...all that year she made me the coolest hand made cards....I am glad I kept those...at the end of the year she sent me an autographed book and a box of all occasion cards she had made...I cherish those...last year my Dear Jane secret pal made me a block every month from the Dear Hannah book...now I need to make a wall hanging out of them!
