I don't care on the block, but would like to know the next couple of month's...I like sending 2 in at once, saves a one way postage if I can get them done. I'd have to see what you meant by scrappy, not to fond of it unless it is a controlled scrappy. If everyone else wants one that's fine, I'll just wait for the next month.

I think doing oriental with black in the bento box design would be cool.

We get so busy here on the farm in the summer I don't sew at all. Because of that I would like to know what pattern If we aren't doing the D4P for the Asian and chocolate and cherries so I can get them done. Those are 2 I would like to participate in.

I'm planning on doing the themes I posted, so never fear, Cro, no changes on those. I'm glad to know you'll be participating in those swaps! I have things kind of planned out through at least August. We'll see what everyone wants to do after that.

Smart thinking, Jaba. I received your Feb blocks. Very pretty.

RE: scrappy - maybe something like this:

Have you decided on the pattern yet for the next 2?? Just wondering, have kind of a lull here in the schedule. Waiting on quilts to do my round for RR's and fabric to come for the Quilt for Quilter's. Need something to sew I could start putting together the 1st set, that might be a very good plan.

Jane, wow! That's a cheerful looking example! The blue/turquoise, green/olive and pink is very cute (or is it yellow? My monitor colors sometimes aren't right). I like triangles, but matching up points can be a little tricky.

Here is what I have in mind for the upcoming months, all with the D4P quilt block:

    March - Patriotic - red/white/blue

April - Civil War reproduction - - - any color paired w/ light shirting fabrics

    May - Asian theme

June - Chocolate covered Cherries - - - what's that, you ask??? Browns and pinks

July - Batiks Revisited - swappers who didn't get in on the January swap will have 'first dibs' ((only fair, right??))

    August - Christmas

After that - - - we'll decide as a group what to do next.

So for the D4P you mean the original pattern that we started with..5" squares and cut 1" from center?? Don't want to start cutting and have them all be wrong.

What exactly would asian theme fabric be? Fabric that looks like pictures? I would love if someone could post examples.
    Thanks
