CRO, I'm waiting for pictures too. Like 'measure twice and cut once', I like to 'sew once and seam-rip never'. :-p

OK. Here we go. I haven't finished sewing them together completely but this will give you the idea:

each quilt block cut per instructions. One pink/neutral and one brown/neutral.

I switched the strip units. The brown/neutral go to the pink squares and the pink/neutral go to the brown squares. Keep the center four patch in it's original position so the fabrics alternate correctly.

What does everyone think??? ((not looking for compliments - - - only on the switch technique))

Hey Jane! That looks like a nice plan! :-) So, will you be swapping individual blocks, so we get variety? Or will you be swapping pairs? I prefer a variety. If you decide on pairs, that's ok too, but will show in the project that there are duplicates (well, if all blocks are used for one project).

Good thing I waited for pictures. I thought originally it was supposed to be a pink WITH a brown.

Jaba, lol That made me laugh. I think May is Asian with black. I'm just looking forward to the June swap... I have these prints in my stash that I thought would be fun to share when Jane named it Chocolate and Cherries! It's Chocolate Truffles by Sue Winget. But pink and brown is very cute for a baby girl quilt too... I love that new line with the cowgirl motifs: Michael Miller, Fandango --- https://www.etsy.com/listing/1521408...?ref=related-4 And, I also like pink/brown polka dots with floral prints! Too many choices! :-)

April - Civil War - regular D4P pattern
    May - Asian - regular D4P patter
June - Chocolate Covered Cherries (CCC) - Argyle D4P
July - Batiks Revisited - regular D4P pattern

    Hope that helps!

Only the strip units are switched. I just noticed in the 2nd pic I posted - the brown/neutral strip on the left should be turned the other way. Hope everyone sees that. ((my mistake)). I will re-post the correct placement for the June swap.

Givio - great fabrics. That top left fabric is fabulous!!!

    Cro -

The quilt block does end up being a pink/brown/neutral combination. It's all in the switching.
