Yes but those measurements are for unfinished, not finished size.

The 4 patch using 6 inch squares will measure 11 1/2". Did that answer your question?

The reason for the 6 inch squares is because the cuts are on the diagonal which really 'shrinks' the overall size of the quilt block. After the sub-cuts and piecing, square up to 9 1/2" unfinished. When I made my block, I had quite a bit extra all around probably due to my scant 1/4" seams.

Hope you waiver toward 'yes'! These quilt blocks would make a cute table runner.

Have two sets cut out. Still need to finish my batik ones before I start sewing on these.

I really enjoyed the january one, I"ll pm you for feb. Put me in for 4 sets. Will have to go shopping for fabrics though. March is coming and I have to have 5 flowers kissing canes ready for st. pat's and my garden ready for planting in april=may. So I'll participate as long as time allows me.
