This just may be my maiden swap on the board! Anxiously awaiting the posting of the final details...forget counting down to the New Year...I'm counting down to the sign up!
Geez, this sounds like so much fun!

1 FQs prewashed or not? That has been an on-going discussion because the FQs tend to shrink and not yield enough yardage for some patterns. With F8s the shrinkage factor would be even more crucial.

    2. SO when does it start and when would the blocks have to be done?

    Still debating.

I'm interested as well but am also new to "swaps" and thus, will also need clear directions, etc.

I know the washing is an issue. Please prewash all fabrics and make sure if you are sending an F8 it is a true F8 before sending it. If it is even a half inch too short your friends might not be able to make you a block.

The signups start January 1 and run for 3 weeks or until the swap is full. Then you will have three months to complete all 36 blocks and mail them home. You can mail a block home a day or 10 in a week or 15 one month. Whatever works for you as an individual.

    Hugs

I can't wait. I told my husband I was going to be the 5th one to sign up. Why 5th one might ask. Well I am quite sure I won't be the first but know I get up really early I am thinking I might be 5th. I will be really sad if I don't make this one. From what I have read it really sounds like a fun one.

two days and hours to go.
