She is spot on right MellieKQuilter! That is how it works. The swaps are so fun and a great way to get to know the people on the board. Please read the rules on page one and let me know if you want to become a swapper. OK?

Your side swap blocks are really nice! I will have to get a wiggle on and make some soon. I just have to make my niece a few summer clothes and I will be on it!

Yup...my bat looks like a spider..at least thats what DH says too, so you are in good company LOL. I don't mind, you can go either way for Halloween can't you?
Red, thanks, I hadn't thought about the copy paper. And since a few years ago I didn't even know how to turn the machine on...I'm sure you actually do have more experience than me..most do..

If you do... make sure you use a SHARP topstitching or denim needle. They have a larger groove for the thread and won't cut or frey on the paper. See?

[quote=hoppa]REd Garnet they didnt have any purple one so got the blavk and orange one. Can you please tell me what you mean by reinforcement as having same problem even with the tivker fabric as so mad right now All this money on fabrics and same problems.
I am taking amachine piecing class at Windy Moon. We are doing a simplified log cabin. My center blocks all have custom art work in them that I had he fabric made. They are all Bruce's artwork. Think of a cricket all dressed up that is the center squares.
Hi hoppa,
I have to tell a little story. I found a hand embroidered baby quilt at a garage sale many years ago. It had fabric like cheesecloth but the design was so cute, I couldn't resist. I bought a Knit weight interfacing and ironed it to the entire back of the quilt. It stablized it perfectly without adding too much weight to the quilt top. I had no trouble quilting through it either.
So there you have it. Interfacing in the lightest weight. The frey check is good too, but, I would avoid quilting into it directly. It hardens like nail polish.
I don't know how big your holes are. But there are many fabrics I sew with that have holes built into them. I like cotton eyelet fabric for shirts duringspring and summer. It doesn't make any difference during the washing. Do you see where I am going here?
Take the blocks with you to windy moon and see what they have to say. I am pretty sure you are fretting about something that isn't going to matter. But, they can advise you better when they see them. By the way, I love windy moon quilts. I always go to breakfast at Big Ed's on fourth when I go over there. It is where elko dead ends into fourth. Very good food and nice people run it. You can see the windy moon sign from the booths. They make a great breakfast until like two thirty or something like that.... LOL!

It is no trouble for me to keep a list. I am pretty organized that way.
I am so happy with our swap. It is great fun!
