So, I am guessing I am safe with something like that? I have not done applique before, and dont want to use my first attempts in a swap or when there is a deadline. :)

Yes, as long as its been sewed should be ok...
Just so you know I've never done applique before either, but I have to learn right? It might not be perfect but the swap is for all user wither be beginner's or oldtimer's, I'm showing picture's so they know what they are getting...LOL (don't want them to be suprised of my work!) LOL

Maybe I will try my hand at something in the center of that type of block. That way I can finish the blocks and not feel pressured of I run out of time...

Oh wow These are adorable! I love the moons background!

I have seen the halloween baltimore quilt and it is awsome!! You lucky duck to have a copy of it, dang did you pay 75 bucks for it? I just googled the pattern, and that is what they say it goes for. When you finish it, I would love to see a picture of yours.
No,I did not pay 75,I think I paid 50 and I bought it from Laura who did the Baltimore quilt on this board. If I get it done I will post it but it is not looking like I will do it this year.
