    Hi Donna,

    Yes the blocks can be 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 at the biggest. Then the multiples go just like the 3 1/2 ones. 12 1/2 x 3 1/2, 12 1/2 x 6 1/2, 12 1/2 x 3 1/2. (And the same with the 6 1/2 inch blocks.) That gives us some creative wiggle room. LOL!

I think she means can a set be increased from 6 in a set to 12.

Ok gals ... My bad. The 2 sets would be 12 blocks. If you want to do twelve alike that would be ok. But, the board has limited the swap participants to swapping out twelve blocks. (2 sets) each.

As far as making eyes with buttons or embelishments I think that would be ok. Just don't go too crazy. I will leave it p to the makers. I was thinking washable wallhangings myself.

What do the rest of you think? It is after all OUR swap. Meaning everyones ...

No one set is 6 blocks. If you do two it is twelve. I know that is a ton of numbers in the title page.... LOL!

I think making them washable is the best, personally, I don't like the ironed on..needs to be either satin stitched, blanket stitchet etc in my opinion.

I really want to do this one, but will put it on the back-burner for now. (nursing school graduation is in 6 weeks and I need to study)
Hope you can concentrate well. Will be thinking of you and praying it goes well. We need all the nurses we can get.

    Hi Lynnie,
I made an extra just for you and the side swap already.... LOL! I am so glad you like them.

They limited it because this is my first swap to host on this board and they were afraid the swap would be too much of a strain on me if there were tons of blocks (swappers) to care for. They don't realize that organization is my best asset. I have been that way all my life. I love organizing and leading a group. (Church groups and school taught me that.)

Maybe the next time it will be different.
