Oh, and I don't think it's too busy at all... it's fun that as you look at it the embroidery reveals itself.

Well now I need to find some time to do more of these!!!
By the way, a flat rate medium box is $11 and that's cheaper than putting 6 sets in 3 flat rate envelopes. A small flat rate is $5.20 (I'm not positive 6 sets will fit in there though, but I'll test 'em and let you know).
How exciting! 24-36 big blocks will probably make me 2 Halloween Quilts! YIPPPEE. But I don't want to sign up for that many until I get them done.

I spoke to patrice and she is graciously opening up the halloween swap to four sets of six blocks.
If you want to do more than two sets and you have sent your blocks already. Remember that two sets of twelve inch blocks is all that will fit into a flat rate envelope. So if you are sending 4 sets of blocks, you will need to send a stamped envelope for each 2 sets of blocks. This is important!
Please contact me and I will update your activity page to show how many you are wanting to swap.
This will mean I won't be hosting another halloween swap back to back to this one. This update is pretty cool because your blocks will all be there in plenty of time to make your quilts for halloween display.
I will however be asking the admin to host a fun christmas (Winter Holiday) block swap at the end of this swap. I just think it would be SO FUN!
Let me know if you are wanting to increase your block sets by pm.

For the most part it is best to go by the rules and trim. I am thinking how hard it would be for me while measuring them. (I have been as they come in.)
So far there are two people who need to send the extra money for postage. They are short on thier packages to return them right. I will pm you and see if you can send the make up amount so your blocks will go out on time. OK?

Here is my Test Run for my Mummy! I printed eyes on those fabric sheets but I may use embroidery or buttons or something glow-y.
I need to anchor the strips down more once I put white thread in my machine. I used grey for the test run.
The background fabric is TBD. I like the dark purple batik but I'll leave that for the end.
What do you think? I'm open to suggestions to improve my little guy.
