I'm new so this may be a silly question, but do all 6 blocks need to be different?

    Yeah!!!! You came over!!!

In answer to your question: No, they do not have to be different. As a matter of fact it would make your life much easier if they were all the same.

I've already started pulling out my cat patterns to see what I will make. I will get started and let you know when I get them done so I can join the swap.
