I love them too - they make me laughing and my daughter would like it too. Here are two of the cats for my first set.

I've a question about the first picture!! The three blocks are made for me. Is it allowed to send one set with blocks like this or is only applique and embroidery allowed?

The second set is for the swap

my first set for the swap, 6.5 x 12.5"

Those blocks are fine veronika. Any kind of bloak is allowed as long as it is somehow cat related.

Veronika, those cats are the cutest thing! The colors are beautiful and I love love how tall and skinny they are. Crossing my fingers to get one! Welcome to the swap.

Those are great Veronika!!! I love it! Yes, the blocks may be pieced as well as appliqued and/or embroidered. Blocks will be counted as "swap blocks" as long as the fabric has been altered in some way...they may be pieced, appliqued, embroidered, painted, etc. The blocks you made for yourself are really great and would be most welcome!

Veronika, I LOVE your long-necked kitties!!!

I'm loving all these wonderful blocks!! You are all so-o-o-o creative!!! I met up with some quilters from Michigan today for a block exchange, and we went to two quilt shops. I picked up a book of cat designs at one of the quilt shops and thumbed through it. I found the absolutely PERFECT block, but I refuse to pay $21.95 just to get that one drawing!!! I'll keep looking online and hope I find one like it. Hmmm.....maybe I can just make a line drawing of my little Bisty since she poses exactly like the kitty in the book -- the infamous "Belly-to-the-World" pose!

    Bitsy in her favorite pose!!!
