I finished up some kitties today. My embroidery machine is supposed to be mailed back to me tomorrow so I might get to make a couple with the pattern I have.

Brooke, I'm so glad that you will be getting your machine back!! The kitties are getting restless here and now are bouncing off the walls due to the catnip...I now need some kitty valium...

All of you that are "in" for the dawgs....feel free to get started if you want. The same rules will apply. I won't be posting it until the end of the month though...don't want to offer so many swaps that people get overwhelmed or stressed out trying to play in too many at a time you know... :D:

i'm putting the final touches on my blocks.

question: what size are people sending for the optional squares of fabric to be used as filler material/etc?

Different sizes fabric. If I have plenty of something, I'll cut some 6 1/2" squares...others I'll cut 3 1/2. The larger ones of course can be cut down if needed.

30 little kitties are now on their journey across the pond :)
Let's just hope they don't get quarantined for 6 months!

My kitties are still waiting to be mailed. I have three more sets under the surgeon getting stitches for their little bodies to hold together. My daughter has been unable to see to do her homework so I am now a Senior in high school again. Will get to work on them no later than May 8, when I get the day off from work, school, and children - I think. Please be patient. I know we are all excited to get them home again.

What is the optional filler squares you are talking about? Are we supposed to be sending some just fabric squares.

I'm not Sandpat, of course, but I think I can answer....No one is required to send filler blocks (unaltered fabric squares) for the swap (see 1st page), but some choose to do so because others appreciate them to help with arrangement of different size blocks....
