The fun part is that I used all the blocks and none left over. Worked out real well. The fillers truly do come in handy. I will post photo when done quilted. May not get the binding on for awhile, my least favorite job, but the border made it more complete. Hopefully this week will get on my longarm and get it done.

Thank you ladies. I appreciate the compliments. It sure boosts the confidence to continue in these swaps. Next month will do the chicken because I have one more swap to finish this month and competitions to enter. These swaps are great for helping on the fabric scraps. I think I may just continue to do them to use it up. The tiny pieces for the DQ swap, the next larger for the appliques, and then the monthly. What fun.

a very good idea to enlarge the blocks. It's easier to complete it than. Which size has your quilt now!

to all catlovers: Have a look at my video. I have a real crazy cat and he is NO HELP if I want to work at a quilt

Veronika--that is very cute. Wow, it would really be hard to keep a quilt laid out!
