Actually cat, this is the quilt that started the whole chicken swap thing! We all love it! The Funky swaps grew from this too. Its one of my favs...

Oh how interesting! No wonder the Funky Chicken block swap was born! The quilt is fabulous!!! Thank you for sharing, and for the history...I'm a little bit smarter chicken coop owner...LOL! (virtually, of course)

i just love that funky chicken quilt. i have soooo many blocks already and keep making more, i sent in 8 sets to swap and have over 20 singles at home, this is gonna be one big quilt. i love the freedom and the sense of humor this allows us all to exhibit to the world. the best part here is, anything goes, and it gets funnier every day with more chickies.

got some sad news the other day, i've got gall bladder problems and the doctor took me off KFC. i started eating it all the time since i started this swap. bte bye crispy strips with honey.

Gee, Lynnie, sorry about your gall bladder issues. I had mine out a few months ago, so I know how it is. I hope a diet change (sad goodbyes to KFC) will make all the difference for you.

I only made 5 sets, and some of them were 3", so I'm thinking I'd better get busy again. Hmmm...

I can't wait to see all the groups of chickens that will result from this swap...so many are soooo cute!
