Leakus...yup, I'm still giggling! That one is a winner! You are making more than 1 set so more of us can get one...right????[/quote]

    Funny!!!!
But yes, I was thinking that I cannot put together a quilt with just 6 blocks!!

So, how does it work? should I design another one or do 12 of the same?

Andrea----very, very cute. OMG Mariposa, how are you going to decide who gets what? I want them all!

Welcome Ms Grace. I did all my applique with fusible web and stitched around the outside (some straight stitched, some zigzag , some other)

Leakus, it is your choice. I know there are lots of us that would love your baked chicken! So you can make 12 of it, or do sets of 6 of something else. But we are excited to see what you do! :)

Leakus I made seven sets of different chicken blocks, from smaller to a 12 1/2" x 15 1/2" size. I want a lot of variety in my chicken quilt, so I made a lot of variety, so hopefully I'll get a lot of variety back...just remember, if you want one of your own, you have to make one to keep as all six will be swapped per our leader, Mariposa!

I made "Kung Pow" Chicken.. I used my Japanese kanji fabric.. I just ironed them onto the fusible web and didn't stitch them to the background yet.

Then I did 6 of "dots mi chicken" :) Let me upload them.

I have a few more to do. Found 3 2.5x2.5 scraps with little chickens on them, and also have some egg fabric that I'll do little 3.5x3.5 inch blocks with for fillers. :)

ok, I got it! To sew I go!

    Mariposa:
We have till March but isn't there a limit of swappers? (or 6-block exchanges)?
Per instructions we can sign up once the blocks are completed. Right?
