    Oh Sandpat,
You silly girl! Of course we can use any chicken pattern we want to! The fatcat patterns are great, and I am doing a couple of them myself! :)

This sure opens it up to do tons of different things, doesn't it? I have some ideas here...hmmm...you're making me THINK! That could be dangerous! LOL!

Yup! Now you've done it; really opened up the field of possibilitites. Wow, we could have lots of fun. Wild and crazy colors would really add some punch to the whole mix. Makes me want to go out and watch our chickens today... see if I can see some 'attitude'!!

    HI rw,
Get to thinking, and maybe we can have a brain-storming get together! :)

I am so thinking of joining this. I remember seeing the chicken blocks from last year. I got inspired by them so I went around the net looking for all the free chicken patterns. Those blocks last year were absolutely adorable.

Here's a link to last year's swap (the photos start here): http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-33089-56.htm
(There are also some photos starting about page 10)

Looking at last year's blocks just makes you smile. They'll also give you ideas for your blocks.

Ok, you've twisted my arm enough now, I'm in.
