Sandpat, is your calf sick? I sure hope not. What breed is he/she? Cute little one.

    Does he like chickens?

I can tell from some of your posts that some of you will understand why the calf in the kitchen is a problem...but things are looking ok...for now.

On the filler fabric. I usually have some extra fabric left over that I like to share with others, so I plan to throw some in the package.

This is a newborn who we found frozen in a puddle of mud. She was barely breathing. Now she is 4 days old...still alive (whew!) The first night she slept in the kitchen. I'm guardedly optimistic about her chances now...her name is Hope. I don't know if she likes chickens, she hasn't ever seen one!! LOL!

What an adorable calf.I hope Hope does well I'm sure under your care she will do great.

I have a question when I cut the background for the appliqué I wasn't thinking and made it 6 inches so should I do a border of 3 1/2 inches to make it 9 1/2 inches if I add just a half inch I think it will look funny what do you think?

We also hope that Hope will make it. We raise cattle also and have those days of rescuing the young ones. It is always a relief when they show signs of getting stronger. :-D
