I got the chicken wire and the all over red and black at a local quilt store - Guthrie Fabrics in Colcord OK.

The chicken wire is Fanciful by Renae Lindgren licensed to Wilmington Prints. ( It also comes in gold and black.)

On the red and black chickens selvage it said Treasures 2003 - PLC5541

The other rooster with the gold writing is a Debbie Mumm print I got at Hobby Lobby several years ago.

Glad you liked it. I have been collecting roosters and chickens for a while. I just needed motivation to get it out and use it :lol: :lol: :lol:

Well since I'm here in our Lake hse in RI watching yet another 6 inches of snow fall today by myself, hubby home in NY where it did not snow...decided to get to the embroidery machine and start my chickens...I did 7 so I guess I'll be doing at least 2 sets...next wkend more chickens...

hobby, those are adorable! I too loved the eat beef and eat chicken! I had to get up and take my lappy to DH to show him how cute they are!

I got 1 set made today (not sewed down). I had to quit earlier than I anticipated due to beautiful weather :wink:..I had to go ride my horse...and a nice ride it was! Now, back to the chickies!

Hobby, I love your eat beef block! so cute. I have been busy organizing my sewing room using the comic book boards and have to say they look mighty pretty now :lol: Now I just need to get back to making chickies. I have so many I want and yet have only made one set.... I'm so behind.... I must get busy....
