Tuesy that's so cute!! I like the white stitching. It sets it off from the black background nicely. Oh, I so much hope that I get one of these!

And I agree Tuesy! Those are really cute and I like the white blanket stitches on the black background. I'm not sure I would have thought of that....I love it!

Thank you sew cornie, brookmarie and sandpat.. I did go ahead and do them all in white blanket stitch. The black just seemed to jump out at me when I did a test one..

Sandpat, I finished 2 sets of 3 inch literal chicken squares, and 1 set of 3 inch eggs. Sign me up for one more set please, "large roosters." And no, I don't have those sheep done! Lol!

Well, I tried to do paper peicing because it looked easy enough but no luck so far. Maybe I should just look into making some other applique or something. I will figure it out though(hopefully sooner than later).

What are you having problems with? Maybe I or someone with more experience than me can help.

not sure, just doesnt look right to me... I know I'm doing it right by watching and following a video I saw on youtube, but it just looks weird. I think most of the looking weird is that I have to leave that extra 1/4" on the sides but still doesnt hit right. I will try to get a pick on later when DH gets home.
