Charisma and Misty Marie.. I LOVE your chickens!! I need to catch up here, but I did see where we would need 5 sets to get all the chickens from the coop?

*thinking*.. Sandpat, put me down for 3 more sets. I must have chickens!! I don't know the sizes yet or if they'll be pieced, appliques or embroidered, but I NEED the chickens!!

You got it! Thats what I like about this swap..the sets are small, so it won't kill you to do another. :-D :-D

I'm not in this and it is none of my business, but I just don't think those ladies would wear basic black. Those are the Red Hat Ladies of the chicken coop! Their blanket stitching would be done in some neon color that screams "Look out world, the hens have arrived!"

This swap is so much fun! I didn't mean to insult, Sandpat. I knew my info wasn't updated on the group activity- so I (wrongly) assumed the others were not updated as well. Sorry!

    I have made 3- 3"blocks,

And three other sets but I haven't determined the final size yet.

    Have a fun Saturday!

Now, I'll go try to update your stuff...wait..is that 3...3" blocks or 3 sets of 3" blocks???

I got a new machine so that I learn to do machine applique. Can someone that machine appliques please tell me what to set the length and width of the blanket stitch at? I would appreciate the help! I also changed the size of the blocks I am doing for this set to 6.5 x 9.5.
