Sew Cornie - I think the applique is perfect the way it is. Very, very cute.

I love your latest guy sew cornie! I see the green for the body..it looks great there, but I agree...you need the black on the eyes and beak at least. From there, you might as well do the legs in black also.....The body fabric is sooo cool and funky that it overpowers the green stitching...so stick with the black  I really like him!

Chigger!!!! Yea!!!! I'll add you to the list and welcome to the board and to the swap! By the way...I think I spend my summers paying for the results of spending time near you...I don't care for chiggers..the little buggers...

Oh I just love your chickens sew cornie!! My daughter laughed as soon as the page came up... thought it would make a great bookmare, but I think its just a little too big for that. I like the appliques on the eyes and beaks otherwise you can't really see them. Great job again

    Sew, he is adorable.
You might try using a narrow satin stitch.

    They are cute.

Alright, thanks for the vote of approval everyone. I'll keep him as is. He's been ready to be stitched for a while and I think I got so used to seeing him "naked" that I wasn't quite expecting how he'd look all finished. I should be able to finish these up in the next couple of days and send them all to join the coop at Patti's house. :-D

Well, the coop was enlarged this weekend...so there is plenty of room for the birds to fly on in!

You mean along with the chicken swap, 4 IRR's, and all of your other quilting projects, you've found time to build an addition onto your house?!? Patti, you are Wonderwoman!! LOL. Ha!
