A/c got somewhat fixed. Need to order apart. Good thing was it got fixed enough where its not to hot in the house.YEAH!! I'm ordering some fabric to finish my blocks. I let you know when finish.

Yea!!! on the A/C repair! With the heat expected over 100 today and this week...you are gonna need it! You'll need to put out the big water bowl next to your blocks so your guys have plenty of fresh water to keep cool!

I agree there . My dogs will stay inside with me.Don't want them to get to hot. Going to take them to the lake to swim a while..LOL

Love the fire hydrant. I started out making the pattern from the link Sandpat posted, but was doing it from memory since my computer is out of town with the DH. I had the perfect scraps for it.....well, seems I'm having a lot of morphing problems lately because I made several sets of the most adorable CATS! Once I got started I just couldn't seem to stop, and even kept 4 for my daughter's quilt. Hmm, the funky farms swap might get overrun with kitties. Well, my funky dog fabric came, so I'll work with that....and no morphing!!!!!

LOL....morphing....well, that can happen! You can use some on the dog quilt too ya know, just change yours to a dawg/cat quilt! LOL!

Ladies--a question? Was thinking about applique funky dawgs, wondered what you all think about little buttons for eyes? Still in planning stage so lots of time to think...maybe toooo much time....

We have gotten many animals with button eyes on other funky swaps so I see no problem with them now.
