mom-6 we've all had days like that. So sorry! For me, that's when I know I need a break. Amazing what a little time will do. I'm sure your creative juices will start rolling again & this time it will all come together.

I am working on my blocks this week. I had to finish up my fast boom swap. Those just finished up last night. I found my rubber chicken pattern, will trace them out today during lunch and get moving on them so they are to you on time. If possible, will do up my chicken bandit buy. I have him all ready to be cut and pasted, stiched. Will be fun. If I find time, may do three sets, but as stands just the two are on my plate if that is ok Muse that I add in some more if I have time. I suppose I should have asked that first.
Muse may I do more than the one I signed up for?

Oh dear momof6 You are having a page from my start for this swap. I embroidered out blue work chickens and there was little nests of thread on the backs. I tried everything to fix them, nope... So they are quilted up as place mats now. I couldn't send them like that. But good news, the rest of my blocks went fine. I hope yours do too.

Hi quiltermomma! I bet she would not mind you making another set. We have been holding our breath to see if there was enough to swap!

Well I finally got a set to go together that I'm not embarrassed with the results. Yea!
Doesn't look much like my original idea, but it works.

Now to figure out how to do the other two sets so I'm happy with them as well.

Sometimes this making up your pattern as you go (and changing it half a dozen times in midstream) can be a bit frustrating. But it really is part of the fun of the creative process. But only when it works out. Lol!

It is fun to make up your own patterns. There are some great drawings out there. Have the rubber chicken traced onto the steam a seam. when get home will put onto fabric and get them done as well. Now to find time to sit and stitch them down. Zucchini is going to take priority this evening.
