I'm very excited: I made three barns this weekend. If I do three each weekend until the mailing date, I should have six that look "funky" enough to send! (I'm a beginner and I'm awed and humbled by the pictures I've seen posted on this site).

Hi muse and everyone! I am sending my blocks off tomorrow to muse. I have had them finished, but I just had to print off the postage and tape it to the envelope. Isn't it funny how a simple thing like that can elude you? LOL ....

The postman comes late around here to pick up the mail, muse. I am thinking by perhaps Thursday or Friday you will get it? Sending it priory mail, but you never know. They will have to take it to the main post office to get it off to you. Maybe I will get off my duff and go to town to mail it. We will see. So tired today.

I remember seeing see rock city on barns in the south. Loved those old signs on barns.

Well, I just found this posting. Good thing I chose barns! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE chickens, but I don't think I'm up to making them yet. I think my barns will be cute.

I now have the rubber chickens cut out and ready to put to a background. Now to find one I like and is enough for all of them. I may have to use different ones, hope that is ok. I really need to use up what I have. Time to go stash shopping again. Love it!

They went with the mailman a couple hours ago. You should have them in a couple days. I will pm you the confirmation number so you can track it. I wrote chickens on the label so they wouldn't get mixed up with the Halloween ones.

I ended up putting new contact paper in the kitchen lower cabinets today instead of going to town. Oh dear where is that advil??
