Oh it was no problem really. I made placemats with them! LoL ... I just didn't want people to think I didn't send the best I could do. The fronts were perfect. The placemats are all finished except the binding. They came out cute. Now I wonder who will get these?

FOR THOSE THAT HAVE AN EMBROIDERY SEWING MACHINE! If anyone is lurking that would like to join us, here are some cute free country farm machine embroidery designs. There are quite a few chickens! There are lots of free sets too, if you go to the main page! In the everyday set there is another fun chicken. Thanks to bunnycup designs!

That Rubber Chicken just needs a couple of side panels, then it would be 6 1/2 inches wide, eh?

Hello Funky Chicken-Houses-Barn Swapper! I've been lurking. I found this site of Free Applique Patterns, with lots of Chickens & Roosters that you might like. http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/freethree.html

After visiting the picture pages of the Second Funky Chicken Swap from 2011, I see the charm and variety of what folks are doing with this theme... I cannot commit to joining yet... but I'm watching, eh?

    QuilterMomma,

Yes, we'd love to have your rubber chicken, just add a little side border!

Turns out that was the only day we got to play. My knee and back gave me trouble and we had to call off Friday. I am so glad we got to play five hours on Thursday. Quilter momma is a special lady and I had so much fun.

I will take it for sure. I saw Red's blocks and they are adorable. She is so organized. I need her to come and work in my sewing and storage area. I think I could finally be really organized for sure. Was a blast spending time with her. Found some wonderful fabric there in Reno and I have colors in my stash to go along with it so going to get my jacket ready for the fair with that fabric. Oh yeah, I can do it.
I have not made any blocks yet. Sign up is here shortly, but not sure I can get done before sign up.
