I noticed with the chickens, some people make the block BIG to be cut down. I thought that was a great idea. I think I will do that with my houses.

I'm not sure what size mine will be. Rachael, I have a pp pattern (somewhere) for a really funky tree...would I add that beside my house? If I did that, the block would be a rectangle of course... :-D
Yes beside! :) I don't want to be a stick in the mud, but since I said the house had to be pieced from the getgo, I feel like we should stick to at the very least each block having a pieced house in it. But other than that, you guys can go buck wild!! :) :) :) And I think a tree would be super cute.

    Cheers!

Oh! That is Great Rapture!! Can't hardly wait for show-n-tell!!

I am going to do a major remodel on the quilt shop or do something else. The more I look at it the more I don't like it.

I've done fabric swaps before (okay, really only two) but never a block swap. However, as my hubby and I are moving into our FIRST house (rental, but hey! not an apartment!) I would love to have a quilt to commorate this event! I'm IN!!
Yay! A trip to the fabric store is in order now! (as if I needed an excuse!)
