It's a wall hanging, but thanks for the wonderful compliment. Now all I have to do is finish the binding, and send it to her. Told her it was going to be late. Life gets hectic, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Oh that is sooo cool kwilt! Did you piece the back with little blocks made like the ones on the top on the front? You must like sewing curves....geesh...they scare me to death!! I bet your Mom loves that...It is great! Wonderful job quilting too by the way!

kwiltkrazy, I'd be tempted to hang it up backwards to show off the beautiful quilt stitching. Beautiful work. Good idea to make it reversible.

Yes, Sandpat. When you do the kind of curved piecing I do you end up with a positive block, and a negative block, so the stars on the back are just the negative of the curves pieced stars on the front. I learned on Simply quilts. It's Ricky Tims wonky cave-man piecing. It's a blast to do. I do love curved piecing.
