(Yes, there will only be one set of these little boogers- I'm going back to needle turn applique or paper piecing...this blanket stich is no fun!)
YAY!! I had to look too!.. and yes my blocks look like doggy doo do!.. but I'm not doing them over AGAIN..(did one block twice and kept messing up in the same place). Then the colors didn't look right, so had to do another.. so in reality I've done more than my 5 sets.. just those aren't good at all.. they're even worse than doggy doo do..blech!
Whatcha mean your's are all wonky? I think on the one set of mine, the flower grew cause it was the right size when I was cutting it out!..
I still have a callus (sp?) from doing the blanket stitch on a penny rug I did a couple of years ago.. that stuff wasn't fun at all.. so I feel your pain... Needleturn.. well I don't do that well.. so I don't do it at all...I'm the "fusible" kinda gal!

Well here is my 5 sets... be gentle...I cry easily!
    I think they look great.

Those are ADORABLE! No need to cry over those!
I have just been lurking on this exchange. I don't have many 30's prints to join in so I am doing my own collection out of scraps. It's fun to see your pictures!

ME TOO!! cause I have honestly tried needle turn and I get a messed up ... leaf, petal, or whatever it is I'm trying to do. Round become square, triangle becomes a blob.. it's just a mess!
I cheat with my sets.. I do one.. work out the kinks and then mass produce the rest.
I still have the blanket stitch to do around about 5 of them and then I'll be done. Might do some more too. These are just to cute to not do.

I've collected 30s fabrics for years, waiting for just the right quilt pattern. LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. I tried to select something different from what's been chosen so far . . . put me down for 2, 17, 47, and 80.

The workmanship shown on the pictures is fantastic!
