Getting very frustrated right now....UGH....I've cut my pieces so that I can make 1 block to see how it works. The measurements on Block #78 are wrong. I don't understand how to put this together. It's the rectangle size that is incorrect and I can't figure out what size to really make it. I NEED HELP!!!! And boy...are these small pieces..YIKES!!!

Sew in strips, then cut to size and assemble, that will give you more control. Also, you could sew larger strips, then cut away the excess when you piece the strips together for greater accuracy. Good luck!

I think I got the rectangle figured out. Now it's the middle part in between the 4 patch's. I did what I thought but once you sew it all together it does not come out to be a 5" block at all....I'm putting it away for today, I've had enough.

    Mishnjim,
I have heard that the printer settings can throw the block off. On your printed copy in the lower right hand corner, there is a line to measure accuracy. Is it 1" from the bottom of your printed page?

But the pattern isn't PP. Does that still make a difference. I was reading the instructions on how to cut everything. I don't know...I'm gonna have a friend help me next week, if I can't figure it out then I won't have this one to swap. I did sign up for a PP one so hopefully that one will work out.

Thank you for your help Retro.
