Okay they will stay . Thank you all! I cut the fabric wrong and thankfully I still had enough to do them. Except two blocks will have different fabric for the background. I thought the cat would fit on a 6 1/2 inch block but it didn't. So I had to cut it 6 1/2 x 9 1/2 for the cat to fit. My mistake . LOL

More fabulous blocks. No, don't pitch those blocks owlvamp. They look great.
And the centre looks fine klaws. It fits with the colours and with the stripes of the corners.
Me, I've pm'd RedGarnet222 to say I am in. I am taking advantage of her generous offer to address and mail an envelope to me at a US mailbox. I will send her the money, of course.
I played with my first block this morning and did not like version one so did a second version which I think is much better.
Version 1

I think the background has too much orange and yellow in it and the main pumpkin gets lost.
Version 2 still has all pumpkin fabrics (I hope I have enough of the background fabric)

The pumpkin in version 2 is allowed to shine.
Now, I have to finish a challenge block before I can continue. I'm doing buttonhole stitch around an applique tree and it is taking forever.

Owlvamp, only pitch them, if you pit them my way. LOL. I think they are great and pretty for this swap.
Great job everyone. I like what everyone has done so far.
I'm at the gathering fabric and deciding which 6 blocks to make. I have several blocks on the list, just need to start making them soon.
Back to deciding. Happy sewing everyone!!!
