Halloween Block Swap 2014

Thank you! Between Moving and have back surgery I don't think its going to be done in time either. Went to the Laser Spine Institute for my surgery and I can't believe the relief I've gotten from in. So any one thinking of having back surgery check into them first you will be surprise on the surgery and the bedside manner of this group of people. I feel right now 79% better and hoping in 6 weeks even better than that....I forgot to mention that I just had the surgery Monday and I'm already up and around without the pain. But I do have a little soreness from the surgery.

That looks amazing Lv2sew2011. I really like how the black makes all the different blocks stand up and be noticed.
Glad you have found relief for your back. Mine is "out" right now so I will move vicariously through you for the moment.
My blocks are waiting patiently for me. No way the quilt will be done this year. I still have to figure out how to get my garden display done. Slowly, I think.

Very nice Lv2sew2011. I have other projects I have to get done before the holidays so they are my priority right now. I am working on one of those Bionic Gear Bags for my MIL, whoes, birthday is Monday, so that is my focus. Then I need to get my WH done for another swap. Then I have SS and the Nov SP...and the list goes on and on.
I was only able to get two sets done, so I am thinking I am going to tuck the blocks away and wait till the swap next year and maybe combine a couple years. I am going to begin making halloween and holiday blocks right after the holidays. That way I will be all set when the time comes with the max number of sets to swap.

Owl amp, I have not forgotten you, We have had 2 emergencies in our family one almost loosing my father a week ago but he's better now,we had to put him in nursing home so he can get 24 hour care,He's 81 and he just can't live alone anymore. Good news is he seems to like the nursing home,he likes to be around people.

I like the 50% witch block.
letsquilt I am so sorry to hear that. I hope he does good in the nursing home. Hopefully he will enjoy of being able to talk to someone everyday... I also know nursing homes can be scary just keep visiting him and make sure all is well.
