Here is my latest block all finished at 12 1/2 square. Yes girls I finally got it right! LOL! My allergies were kicking my brain into trouble there for a while. Gee the pollen is heavy here this year. We have had more rain than I have ever seen in reno.

I want to say this so everyone knows. I did not take the tear-away from behind this block out from the design. (the main part of the background paper is gone, just the little bits are there) It isn't hard to do, just pull it up with a needle and pull. The threads have cut the paper so it will come out easily. I am just stabilizing it so it doesn't wrinkle until you set it. I buy embroidered blocks all the time from on ebay and this is the way she sends them to me. I like it myself, so when I made these I left the design paper there.

Thanks so much yonnikka. I found this idea in a past swap block from some time ago.

Ladies I'm going to make a call here and I hope not to upset anyone, but as far as the coloring on blocks I'm going to have to say no. There have been some complaints and I just feel that we need to stick to piecing or appliquaeing our blocks as the rules state.
    Thank you!

I love all of your Halloween blocks. I'll have to see how it goes with all of my other swaps, maybe I can squeeze in a couple of sets. I'll keep lurkingl You've all made fun creative blocks!

I have tried to make something I haven't tried before with the embroidery blocks. I know everyone will do better than I did. LOL! My creativity is on vacation I guess. But, finished has it's advantages. :~)

I doubt I'll be able to join (gearing up for craft fair season), but here are a couple of small quilts I made from previous QB Halloween swaps.

Thanks! Actually, the credit should go to QB members, because they made most of the blocks. I just put 'em together.
