Martina - thanks for the shout-out on the colors - I am going thru a "pop" phase! Cute story...my 10-year-old daughter just took a quilting camp and made her first quilt. We were shopping after one day and I picked up two fabrics. She came over and said "mom, you should put some of this with it, it would make that blue really "pop" and walked away. I about fell over on the floor - they must've talked about fabrics making others "pop" in the class, and she really got it!

Thank you so much for organizing and pulling all these together. You are putting so much time in - I cannnot get over the generosity of the ladies (and gents) on this board!

I talked to one of the ladies at work and she showed me an easy pattern that may work for the baseballs - particularly to showcase the feature fabric as fussy cuts. I already have a lead on a name:
9 innings for Glendon. OR Glendon't Home Run. ....or something like that.

Here's another that was posted on this board: scroll down a bit. Of course, it's huge, and can be sized accordingly, but it looks simle enough. It wouldn't do anything with the panels, but they could be put in with these squares surrounding it. I know you have another pattern you found, and I'll look that up. Just keeping an eye out for something easy and quick. BTW, I didn't get them out yesterday but PROMISE I will today!!

That's funny, Esq, the one I was considering was also a square in a square variation. This one might fit the bill. It looks very baseball-fieldy. (Gee, can you tell that I know nothing about sports? )

It's already here. - Happydance - Squishy was laying by the gate and I spent a good amount of time petting and planning.

Thanks a million - you are extremely generous. (But as my quilting colleague said, when I told her about you: "She's a quilter, and we are all special people!" She's sooooooo right.)

Teresa, your hands came in yesterday. They are such a colorful addition to the batch. Got a pm that two more are in the mail. I think that is all, or does anyone else have any going?

Please let me know. I washed the sashing fabric yesterday and am ready to get going.

DH figured out what was wrong with the camera and I should be able to post "good" pictures real soon.
