...and good thing I double checked. It's Joiner with an I not Joyner with a Y. Slapping self upside the head.
Teresa,
when I get this done - which will be soon now, I would like to send it to you and have you deliver it. Would you mind? It would just be nice to have an eye-witness account if she likes it. (If she doesn't just lie to me - lol)

On the quilt front it is gloom despair and agony on me......I don't know what to do. I have been working on Kennedy's quilt and it is a DISASTER. First I tried to quilt hearts in the border using FMQ and it was more like heart break so I took that stitching out again - painstakingly......Then I started to outline the hands using the slow going method but the tension WILL NOT adjust properly and when I smoothed them out, they broke and I had gaps in the lines. So I just picked out those seams as well. I knew this was going to happen. I just knew it. I'm just a SID quilter at present and unfortunately SID is not enough.
I'm thinking of throwing in the towel on this because I've taken it as far as I can take it. I think I'll pack it up and send it to Teresa. She can finish it or have someone finish it for the cause. What do you all think?

Sounds like it needs to move on to another angel to finish it. I'd offer, but I'm slammed with quilt work and work-work right now. What about tying it?? I dunno. If Teresa can finish it, that's great.

I got a sweet offer from JRSAY for some hand quilting and honestly, I don't know about combining machine and hand quilting. Right now I am waiting to hear back from Teresa. Sent her a pm last night.

Hello I just got on and see that we have a problem. I am still a new quilter and I would probably make a mess. Sandpat if you would do the quilting I know we would all be appreciative. I will pm Madquilter and let tell her that it is fine with me if someone with more experience than me quilts the quilt for Kennedy. Thanks for all everyone has done to get this project of hope done for Kennedy.
