OK guys, I am more than halfway through with the hands, so I am thinking about the borders...I was thinking just outlining my own hands moving around the border with the word HOPE intermingled as a continuous FM design....what do you think? Any other ideas...requests....?

My goodness, you are fast. When I did my feeble attempt, I had a similar idea and tried hearts in the border. Hands, Hope, Hearts, whatever works for you. It will be fabulous (and done) whoohoo.

Oops....I got to the last 2 hands and then saw how you did your outline about 1/4" outside the hands. I didn't do that...I sewed right next to the applique to make it "pop" out and then...I didn't ask you guys, but I also sewed around the hearts in the hands or where ever they were to make them "pop" also. The hands are done. Oh...Mad...I used the varigated on the back and white on the front. Here are some pics...so far...Do you want me to do anything else in the blocks? My thought is that as long as the batting doesn't require it...I wouldn't because I don't want anything to take away from the hands themselves..but I'm open to doing whatever ya'll want.

I'll draw up the border design tonight (hopefully  ) Editted to say...Whew!! My camera setting was wrong for the color..sorry!
