Perfect is right! Like I said before, you "own" this part and as far as I can tell there is no "oops." I tried to do it as a visible outline because that is all I knew to do, but we all know where that ended. (With the thread picker - that's where.) I think it's fabulous. Love the way those hands and hearts POP.

You're not kidding - that is one bright setting on the camera. I have a feeling it is a little camera shy. lol

Wow Patti, you did a fantastic job on those hands!! I'm sure Kennedy is going to love it. Her mom will probably want to hang it up, but I hope that little girls cuddles with it tons and tons! It's one of those that she needs to have wrapped around her to "feel the love"!

This quilt is actually sooo cool! I hope that her mother does not hang it up. It is a cuddley quilt. As I'm quilting it, because of the way I was holding the fabric, it was like I was holding hands with all of you to get it finished up. Cool feeling.... I just think that Kennedy will feel that same way.

I might add that some of you have beautifully shaped hands...and I'm NOT sayin' which ones....I'm just sayin'....

OK...Viola'...finished! I tried to do a pic of the quilted border...it just plain doesn't show up well-sorry. I used the varigated thread on it. I am showing you what the design looks like on paper..all pinned to the boards.

I still have to cut and clean up the threads on the back, but I can get it sent back out maybe tomorrow or Sat. at the latest. I'll let you know Teresa.

The design repeats all the way around

Sorry it doesn't show up better in the pic

I absolutely LOVELOVELOVE what you did. I should feel ashamed for taking so long. But, it is complete; it is beautiful; and it should bring a smile to Kennedy's face. That's all that matters in the end.

    {{{HUGS}}}} all the way around.

MQ - you sshould not feel ashamed, in fact for the major role that you played in getting this project to the finish line you should be proud of your work and the team effort. Many pats on the back to you :) :)
    Sandpat - absolutely AMAZING!!! Brava!
