My box is chock full, too! Now to wrap everything and HOPE that it still fits in the box!

I have marked my box "Happy New Year Swap". Do we open these upon receipt or wait? I know with the Secret Santa swap we wait until a designated date to open. Just want to be sure I understand how this exchange works.

Should we mail them now....or wait until closer to the December 3rd Deadline?

Thanks!

we do not have to wait to open our boxes per the host and yes you can mail whenever you want. some of us are waiting until closer to the deadline date to mail. it is all up to you.

i know i will be sending my package closer to the deadline date. i still have things to make and shopping to do for my secret pal.

moedeenie what sort of items did you include in your package? i need some ideas.

Havplenty....Bath and Body Works....oh such a bad place for me to even enter. LOL I am soooo glad they opened a store here finally after many years of buying and mailing boxes home from our travels. I think I figured out that I could put 21 bottles of lotions and potions in a flat rate box...think it was the medium sized flat rate ones. LOL

There aren't any chain restaurants in rural areas like mine. Applebees, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesdays are a 2 hr drive one way. I would use a gift card because we sometime have to go there for dr. appt and various other things. My DD takes one of her poodles to Bangor to get her groomed. Our nearest Subway and McDonalds is 30 mins one way. We go there often. We have a Pizza Hut and KFC 1hr 15 min one way. I think a gift card is a great idea.

What are some other ideas people have for relaxing from all the hustle and bustle of the holidays? Do any of you read, or play games? If so, what kind? Other ideas also?

Usually after Christmas, I end up doing jigsaw puzzles and also do a LOT of sewing.

Maybe I am the wrong person to answer the question as I don't have much hustle or bustle around the holidays, lol, but when I am generally stressed I either quilt, play with the horses or take a bike ride or hike with hubby. After any of these activities, I am restored to normal, well, my normal
Oh and I just thought of another thing I do, I dance. Crank up your favorite music and sway with it as you perform any overwhelming or unpleasant tasks.
