I need everyone to say a little prayer for my DH . We are going to a Thorasic surgeon in Boston, Ma. today to see if after he does chemo and radiation he would be able to remove his esophagus cancer which is 10cm long. He already had his colon cancer removed and it is completely gone. This one will be tough. This board helps me keep my sanity.

Thank you to everyone for the prayers. The Surgeon said after he goes thru 6 weeks of chemo and radiation then about 4 weeks later he could have the surgery. Doctor said they now take out the cancer and take part of his stomach and will rebuild the esophagus in the shape of a tube. It is amazing how much they can do now in surgery. I need my present to cheer me up. Hope it is on its way.

I received the most delightful package from Sulabug today! I will try to post pictures here. Great items including several fabrics, chocolate, Huckleberry Taffy, a darling dog mug rug that she made (!), mystery book, Clilnique bag set with samples, note pad, pencils, paper clips, lotions, small wedding ring quilt kit (precut), coffee, quilting CD, red and green Gutterman thread, angel button, 2 knitted wash cloths and even treats for my dogs. I am ecstatic and Sulabug you are the best! Thank you so very much for making this so special for me.

My package isn't here yet but I'm not anxious about it yet as it is only 1 day after the deadline. Raining constantly today but maybe when it clears up I'll stop by the bench to join the party. I think I'll bring some peppermint mocha lattes, and bagels.
